New information discredits the vaccine/autism link
Feb 3, 2010
A frequent question in our practice is whether or not vaccines lead to autism. A lot of this concern stems from a British research article originally published in 1998 which stated a connection between the MMR vaccine and autism. This article from The News Tribune updates how that British article has since been retracted due to faulty science.
Please read the article and feel free to ask your provider if there are any questions. As always, please verify the source of any information you get on the Internet when making decisions regarding your child. It is very important to make medical decisions based on sound, legitimate research.
