“I chose pediatric medicine as a career because I feel every child is a gift from God, created in His image. Pediatrics is an incredible opportunity to serve children and in turn their families, from newborn and all the points along the way as they grow to be adults. Pediatrics is about listening to and educating parents while getting to know their children. Every child is a story of devotion and commitment that I get to share with loving parents.”
Dr. Clapper’s greatest source of fun and enjoyment over the years has been spending time with his wife, their six children and three grandchildren. Dr. Clapper serves as a member of his local church, the Evangelical Reformed Church, and he spends time studying the Bible and applying God’s word. He loves the outdoors and traveling to new places.
