“I believe it is most important for parents and physicians to model the behavior they would like to see in the families for whom they are caring. I want the families I care for to eat healthily, exercise, treat each other with respect and dignity, and take appropriate measures to maximize their health. As the child's provider, I need to set the example in my own life. I chose pediatrics as a profession because kids fascinate me. I enjoy working as part of a team with the family and our staff to maximize the child's health and well being.”
Following are just some of the volunteer activities Dr. Dimant has been involved with over the years: Big Brothers and Big Sisters for the past 10 years, Habitat for Humanity for the past seven years, Rebuilding Together for the past five years, cystic fibrosis fundraisers and five house-building trips to Mexico through his church. He loves to sail, ride bikes and snow ski. He is fluent in Spanish.
