“I feel it is my responsibility to keep kids safe and to explain clearly to families why we are recommending various treatment options. We can be true partners with parents and their children by teaching as we provide care. As your child’s pediatrician, I have the responsibility to provide appropriate care while considering the cost to the families. I chose pediatric medicine because I love children; their energy and their natural curiosity. I have always found it fulfilling to learn the scientific basis of problems. To me, the combination of pediatrics and endocrinology is the perfect mix.”

Dr. Goldsmith enjoys playing guitar. To stay healthy he runs, bikes and swims regularly. He also enjoys creating video movies and PowerPoint presentations for lectures he gives on endocrinology. When he is not enjoying the company of his lovely wife during dinner, watching a movie or vacationing, he likes to spend time with his two boys.
