“I love to teach; so becoming a pediatrician was enticing and seemed the ideal mix of science and compassion. I could envision caring for children and being as helpful as possible. I have the fortune to have incredible mentors beginning with my wise patients. I see myself as a capable, caring guide for children and their families as they navigate life. I am routinely humbled by the opportunities I’ve been given to care for children during times of illness or in helping to maintain good health. I have a keen interest in childhood behavior and development.”
Dr. Woodruff enjoys time with her family: Mitch, her husband of 30-plus years; their twin adult daughters; youngest son Alec; and son-in-law Vaughn. She loves to bake great food for get-togethers with family and friends. She stays active by running, walking the dogs, kayaking and volunteering her time. She especially loves to read, read and read.
