“I chose pediatric medicine because it allows me to work with children of all ages and their families. I enjoy watching them grow from birth to adults. While providing direct medical care to children, I provide health education to the entire family. As a pediatric provider, I believe in working in collaboration with parents and their children to provide the best medical care I can. I believe it is important to be a good listener, and to have patience and enthusiasm in providing great medical care.”
When away from her practice, Janel enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, family and friends. She enjoys traveling to new places for the weekend and outdoor activities including walking, running, playing tennis, golfing, skiing and hiking. She loves to cook and entertain, and she is involved in many volunteer activities in the community such as Juvenile Diabetes fundraisers and the Down Syndrome Buddy Walk.
