“It is such a gift to watch children grow both physically and emotionally from infancy to adulthood. I consider it a privilege to be allowed to walk along with families, witnessing the growth and development of a child, and to aid during times of illness.”
Dr. Rodriguez supports vaccinations for all children. Her patients should anticipate that vaccinations will be discussed at all well child examinations and vaccinations will be offered at all appointments to children who are due for vaccines. Dr. Rodriguez promotes and follows the CDC’s (Center for Disease Control) immunization schedule.
In addition to general pediatrics, Dr. Rodriguez has specialty training in trauma informed care and wellness. She is a member of the AAP Councils on Child Abuse and Neglect (COCAN) and Committee on Sports Medicine and Fitness (COSMF). Outside of the office, Dr. Rodriguez supports adolescent and adult survivors of abuse, violence, and trauma. She is a consultant to groups that bring awareness and prevention to human trafficking. She also facilitates peer support groups for survivors of abuse.
She loves running, reading, anything Disney, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Rodriguez is fluent in Spanish.
