“I chose pediatrics in order to act as an advocate for the most vulnerable. Additionally, children are so resilient, and they are always positive and smiling no matter what hardships they face. I want to ensure that we are able to protect childhood while promoting for health.”

Dr. Best supports vaccinations for all children. Her patients should anticipate that vaccinations will be discussed at all well child examinations, and vaccinations will be offered at all appointments to children who are due for vaccines. Dr. Best promotes and follows the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) immunization schedule to provide evidence-based vaccine recommendations for children and adolescents.

Dr. Best believes in compassionate, patient-centered care. She wants to ensure that families understand why she recommends certain things (I.e. ensure that everyone is in understanding and all questions have been answered)

Outside of work, Dr. Best likes going for walks, spending time near water, hanging out with her cats, and exploring new ice cream places. She relocated to the Pacific Northwest to explore the area and take advantage of the beautiful landscape, and cannot wait to get to know the community itself!
