Note: If you are having trouble reaching us by phone, please send us a message through MyChart. To request an appointment, please choose Menu > Ask a Question, then select your provider. Please include your preferred dates/times for an appointment. Once the appointment is scheduled, you will receive a notification in MyChart.
Our providers are accepting new patients. You can learn more about our providers by viewing their profiles or by calling us. Our schedulers can tell you more about our providers and assist you in scheduling your appointment.
Our schedulers will help get your child in as soon as needed for every visit. At certain times of the year, our appointment schedules are busier than normal. If there are no appointments available when your child needs to be seen, our schedulers will work with your provider to get an appointment for you as soon as possible.
We make every attempt to schedule your child with their primary care provider at every visit. However, our providers’ schedules will vary from day to day. At times your child might need to be seen by another provider. When this occurs, your child’s primary care provider will be informed of the visit.
We may ask you to arrive earlier than your scheduled appointment time to allow time for any forms or updates of your medical insurance.
Canceling or Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us at 253-383-5777 so that we can release your appointment for someone else.
Pediatrics Northwest offers same-day appointments at all of our locations throughout the day.
Missed/Late Appointment Policy
We recognize the hardship that same-day appointment status has caused many of our families and are making changes to our missed appointments and late cancelation and late arrival policy. Starting January 1, 2023, all Pediatrics NW patients will start with a clean slate. Please note that to ensure access to care for all of our patients, it is important to notify us at least 4 hours in advance if you are unable to make it to an appointment. If you miss several appointments in the same calendar year, your family may be dismissed from the practice. Multiple instances of arriving late or canceling your appointment late may also result in dismissal from our practice. We want to make every effort to work with you and continue providing care for your family, while also ensuring that late or missed appointments do not impact care for our other patients. Thank you for your understanding. If there are difficulties or barriers to accessing healthcare services for you or your family, our care coordination team can provide resources to help. If we can offer you any assistance to avoid missing your appointments, please contact our office at 253-383-5777 and enter ext. 4775 or send us a MyChart message with the subject “Care Coordinator”.
