Edward Champoux, MD

“Kids are so important, not only to their families, but also to our future as a society. Children should be nurtured and valued, while also given the tools and the opportunity to grow. I like the idea of being a part of that, even in a small way, and if there is anything I can do to help a child, that gives me a sense of puropse.”

Dr. Champoux supports vaccinations for all children. His patients should anticipate that vaccinations will be discussed at all well child examinations, and vaccinations will be offered at all appointments to children who are due for vaccines. Dr. Champoux promotes and follows the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) immunization schedule to provide evidence-based vaccine recommendations for children and adolescents.

Dr. Champoux believes that its important to not just see patients as a sum of their medical conditions, but to regard them in the entirety of who they are and what they want. Respecting a person’s wishes and autonomy with regards to their medical care is paramount.

Outside of work, Dr Champoux loves astronomy and stargazing, and collecting stamps and comic books. He is passionate about nature, and being outdoors is important to him. He also loves history; there isn’t a museum, roadside historical marker, or old site that he won’t pass up.

Having lived all over the country and the world, he is looking forward to calling the PNW home.
