“I chose pediatrics as a career because of the opportunities to care for children and their health during the most formative years of their growth. As a pediatrician, you have the incredible opportunity to form long-term relationships with patients and families, as well as the responsibility to help children stay healthy and supported as they grow. I believe that understanding each patient and their individual needs is crucial to providing the best care in pediatrics. My goals are to help children and families be their healthiest by focusing on preventative care and education, while providing evidence-based medical care.”

Dr. McCune supports vaccinations for all children. Her patients should anticipate that vaccinations will be discussed at all well child examinations and vaccinations will be offered at all appointments to children who are due for vaccines. Dr. McCune promotes and follows the CDC’s (Center for Disease Control) immunization schedule.

Dr. McCune enjoys spending time outdoors – hiking, running, and dog walks to local parks. Her and her husband love taking road trips to visit National Parks. She also enjoys exploring new coffee shops and restaurants, baking and cake decorating, and knitting and crochet!
